Buying a home in Italy is a simple and safe procedure, governed by laws which protect both parties. However it can be a little more complicated than buying in the UK. Unless you speak fluent Italian, together with the local dialect, are familiar with the purchase procedure and you are up to speed with local planning regulations then you are well advised to seek the services of at the very least a translator.
